Sterk Financial Services is based in Dakota Dunes, SD and is an established and growing financial services firm. ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and cultivate prospects, determining if they are a right fit for the firm
  • Present workshops, seminars, and webinars to develop new clients
  • Follow a proven process to develop qualified prospects into clients
  • Meet with potential clients to assess financial needs
  • Design and present innovative and customized financial plans for clients, helping them get on track to meet their financial needs and aspirations
  • Structure allocation and provide wealth management services in conjunction with our experienced Investment Committee
  • Conduct client account reviews to solidify and build long-term relationships, identify value-added products and services, and develop additional business through referrals

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of financial services, consulting, advisory, or sales experience is required
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is required: financial planning, investment management, estate planning, tax planning, insurance and/or annuities, and/or retirement planning
  • Must have Series 6/63/65 or Series 7/66
  • Life/Health insurance license(s) are preferred
  • Advanced designations such as CFP, CLU, ChFC®, CFA, CPA a plus
  • Ability to pass background check

 SCHEDULE

  • Typical business hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm but must be flexible depending on client’s needs
  • Some after-hours will be required for educational, marketing, and networking events

 COMPENSATION

  • We offer a competitive compensation plan, including a base salary
  • Bonus opportunities based on sales production and adherence to our Core Values
  • $70-100k+ expected first year compensation, subject to performance
  • Benefits include: health care, 401(k), vacation, early-out summer Fridays
